Before you comment/add/rant at me it might be helpful to know the following: I'm a girl on the Internet who knows the Internet, I'm 38, which does not make me an old hag or a fart, (I've been told I look and act no less than 10 years younger), I'm not fat, I'm not lazy, I'm not stupid, and I don't like trolls - unless I do the trolling.
I'm into the Web, software, hardware, computers, and web design. I love CSS, and I muck around in LJ's s2 with some success now and then. I'm also into writing poetry, being outdoors, listening to music and dancing.
My journal is like Seinfeld: it's about nothing or it's about everything. I'm not sure which. I'm a spontaneous updater, often writing about something within seconds of discovering or thinking of whatever inspired me. When I say I'll write posts in the future on a specific topic, I usually don't. I have no excuse for that. Actually I do, but that's another post.
I don't update on a schedule, I don't read my Friends page on a schedule, I don't leave comments on a schedule, but I am a prolific commenter, at least according to my own stats, so I encourage you to be the same.
My journal is 100% public. I've had friends in the past complain that I keep the blog open to the "public" (i.e. "the trolls" and the "trouble makers", which Microsoft seems to harbor a lot of) and that just bugs me - it's my blog, so I'll keep it open to whomever I want.
My friends policy is pretty simple: if I add you first it means I found your journal kicking around and I think I like it; if you add me first but write in Russian, there's no point in me adding you back since I can't write or read in Russian (but thanks anyway for taking an interest!); if you add me first and write in English I'll add you back if I like your journal - and that's about it.

Most of the time I just leave it blank or nearly so; when I do try to fill it in, it's always too short/too long/too descriptive/too vague but it never gives you any idea who I really am or what I'm really like.
